Cookie Policy

This page explains what cookies and similar technologies Starlit Journey uses, and why.

Strictly necessary

These are required for the app to function and can't be turned off. They're not subject to the consent choice below.

• Authentication session (Supabase) — keeps you logged in between page loads. Without this, you'd have to log in again on every page.

Analytics

We use two analytics tools, which are handled differently:

• Vercel Analytics — doesn't use cookies at all. It identifies visits using an anonymous hash that's discarded after 24 hours, with no data that could identify you personally. Because of this, it runs regardless of your choice below.
• Google Analytics — uses cookies to understand how visitors use the app in aggregate (pages visited, general location, device type). This one only loads if you actively consent — see below.

Your choice

When you first visit, we ask whether you're okay with Google Analytics. Declining is just as easy as accepting — nothing is pre-selected, and declining doesn't block or limit anything else in the app. Google Analytics genuinely does not load until you accept.
